Before you decide

Is the free plan a trial?
No. There is no clock on it. Free covers one income path, one offer and ten contacts, and it stays that way for as long as you want to use it. Pro removes those limits — it does not switch the product on.
What happens to my work if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, and after that everything you built stays exactly where it is — every plan, offer, contact and revenue entry. The free limits only ever apply to creating something new.
Can I cancel whenever I like?
Yes, from the billing portal in Settings, in two clicks. There is no cancellation flow designed to talk you out of it.
Do you make money if I buy gear?
No. There are no affiliate links anywhere in Shotwell, and there never will be. The product's default answer on a purchase is wait, which would be a terrible business model if we were selling gear.
Are the income figures guarantees?
No. Every figure in the product is a planning model built from your inputs and a suggested starting price. Pricing varies by location, experience, deliverables and client.
